Watching every movie above 8/100,000 on IMDB.

So I decided to try and watch every movie on IMDB rated above 8, with at least 100,000 votes that I haven't seen. Its about 287 movies, but I have already seen many of them. First up Inception.

Its hard for me because I really don't like drama movies. Most of the top ones are serious drama. I'm going to watch a tiny bit of the War ones but thats it..Saving Private Ryan, Schindlers List.. I do not look forward to it.

i'm sure it's not too hard to find this, but can you clue me in to how you sort imdb lists by both ratings & # of ratings?

Its not the normal imdb search page, that threw me for a while. Its called Imdb title search, with lots of criteria to narrow down what you want to see. Its how we play stonekeeper. From Stonekeeper page...Example of connections: Actor, length, genre, aspect ratio, language, country, year, director, writer in common, rating, number of votes, nominations.

Well 30 minutes in and I'm bored silly with Inception. I'm moving to the next on the list..Inglourious Basterds..This is like torture for me. Thank god so far these are free on Netflix.

No I've seen some of it. I don't know what I'm looking for in a movie.. first great actors that can transcend a bad script. I just haven't seen it lately. I'm watching Silence of the Lambs, story and actors. Solid.

Thats the point when you've seen it all. Silence of the Lambs always gets me..What else gets me, at this point not much.
