I hate when a movie title is someone's name.

All these titles suck equally:

Patch Adams
Michael Clayton
Ned Kelly
Charley Varrick
Billy Elliot

Harry Brown
Jerry Maguire
Bob Roberts
Barton Fink
Donnie Brasco
Alex Cross
Jack Frost
Vera Drake
Billy Madison
Wyatt Earp
Donnie Darko
John Wick
Annie Hall
Simon Birch
Charlie Bartlett
Jack Reacher

Then you have the single names:

Ray
Hanna
Anna
Rebecca
Victoria
Logan
Rambo
Amelie

These titles are so damn lazy. It's like they're trying to make a character popular. And when they use a first and last name, I can't tell if it's based on an actual person and they're expecting me to know it, or if it's one completely made up.

You’re being extremely unfair to one of the greatest horror films ever made. He’s a killer snowman whose human name was actually Jack Frost. There couldn’t be a better title.

It seems like the vast majority of them are from the last 25 years. Almost as if they ran out of movie titles.

Well there are plenty of older one too which he has not listed many of. Disraeli, Skippy, Dodsworth, Henry V, Bulldog Drummond, Mildred Pierce, Cluny Brown, Alfie, Julia, Carrie... it’s an age-old problem, apparently!
