Sunny Johnson, who played the skater who fell while performing to "Gloria," died of a burst blood vessel in her brain in 1984.
Laura Branigan died of a brain aneurysm in 2004.
Similar causes of death, 20 years apart.
I know right!! I read about that before but that is one of strangest and eeriest coincidences.

shareBut the song that was performed by Laura Branigan was originally an Italian song by Umberto Tozzi.
But I must say that my favorite version is the Swedish version with Carola Häggkvist:

Thanks for the link, I liked that version. But I think I'll stick with Laura Brannigan - possibly just because I always seem to prefer the version from the 1st time I liked a song.

So I can't really warm up to Laura's version, since I heard and loved another version first.
