Be prepared to socially distance, wear gloves correctly, and wash your hands frequently for the next year or two

Hopefully some places will begin to life the shelter-in-place requirements soon, but that doesn't mean the danger is over or that the virus is gone, or that the risk of infections exploding and overwhelming the healthcare system is gone.

No, that won't happen until there's widespread vaccination, a good treatment is found, or enough people have recovered that herd immunity starts to kick in. We're probably talking a year or two.
