I've lost interest in basketball over the years. The Bucks having the best record in the NBA only to have the season suspended and maybe cancelled is pretty disappointing though. And of course the big dance being cancelled really sucks. The Brewers being good for once has gotten me interested in baseball somewhat lately. Sad to see opening day come and go with no baseball.

If this had happened during football season I'd be missing sports a lot more. Not real happy with the way things are going in the NFL, but still follow football pretty closely.

Overall, I'll say 6/10.

Gotta give a shout out to the best FEMALE basketball collegian of the past two years, Sabrina Ionescu of the Oregon Ducks. At least she made her mark already as the NCAA all time leader in career triple doubles (both men and women), but she won't be able to try for that brass ring as a National Champion, unless things change and the rules are tweaked to allow seniors to extend eligibility due current circumstances.
Lady Ducks are hugely popular in their hometown of Eugene.

The Brewers have been good the last 3 seasons. Been a lot of fun to watch.

The past couple of Saturday afternoons, a local radio station has been re-broadcasting games from the 1965 World Series and the 1965 MLB All-Star game, both played at Metropolitan Stadium (now the site of the Mall of America) in Bloomington, MN. I listened to most of game one of the World Series. It was kind of fun to hear the differences in how the play-by-play was handled then compared to now. A lot less chatter back then, for sure. Quite nostalgic actually, hearing those familiar voices from yesteryear.

Jim Kaat, Mudcat Grant, Dave Boswell, Jim Perry, and Camilio Pasqual, to name a few.

reply

I remember Katt and Perry.

Yep. I was really starting to get into XFL.

I never could understand the rules to Aussie football.

You have to watch a few games with someone beside you explaining what the hell is going on.
