Are you a quartz, mechanical or smart watch wearer?

I’ve never had a smart watch.

I have some very nice quartz movement and a few replica Swiss watches which are mechanical.

Personally I prefer quartz. Set the time and leave it. No need to wind or shake or buy a machine to keep it moving (costing hundreds.)

Plus mechanical watches need to be serviced every five years and it costs around $500.

I like the craftsmanship of mechanical watches but I don’t find them practical or cost efficient.

1949 Hamilton mechanical
1981 Seiko quartz
1992 Swiss Army quartz

Never had a "smart" watch, and I don't carry a pocket telephone.

I have several fashion watches, but I also have two very nice watches that require a battery - a Cyma and a Concord - I love them both, but the batteries just died last week and both require a jeweler to replace them as they are water resistant to like 20 or 30 feet, so I'm currently without a watch and it's driving me crazy.

I don't like wearing a wrist watch. I find them uncomfortable.

Solar powered. The cost of my Citizen Eco-Drive was a bargain in my opinion. Accurate to the second.
