I just finished watching the cinematic masterpiece known as "Cats".

I few minutes ago, I finally saw this much talked about film. It's not a movie, it an experience. Excessivlely neon coloured backgrounds, cats dancing with weirdly shaped bodies as they walk around with human feet and hands, human faces with whiskers while wearing human clothes. A complicated story like no other. The performances of Rebel Wilson and James Corden are cat-astrophic. There's just so much to "appreciate" about this Godfather-esque motion picture. It will give you a good feline about yourself. It kept my interest and did not keep meow-t of the film.

10/10 (but really a 2/10)

Finally! Well done! So is it a so-bad-it's-good kind of movie?

reply

Definitely. The fact that almost all of the spoken dialogue was singing, it didn't feel boring. I just sat there and enjoyed the absurdity. The movie is filled with bad decisions after bad decisions. Even the hand held camerawork made it weirder.

reply

Thanks, PURRhaps I'll CATch it later!🐱

reply

I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope you recover soon.

reply

I knew what I was getting into. This is completely self-inflicted.

reply

Well... ok then.

reply

Was it at all faithful to the stage version? I heard that was popular.

reply

I haven't seen the stage version. But at least I know the CGI won't be as bad because there is no CGI.

reply

LOL. No, just actors in catsuits, I think. Probably should have stuck to that for the movie version.

reply

I will pass.

reply

I’m jellicle of you

reply

I still don't know what separates a jellicle cat from a non jellicle.

reply

Nu? So how big was the litter box?
