I was on filmboards for 8 months, and got so tired of the drama on there.
There's too much favoritism, with staff members being on a first-name basis with posters (some being obvious trolls).
Well, the good thing is I'm here, and all that is behind me. Legit story.
Seinfeld and Upstairs, Downstairs on IMDb. And of course posting on other movie/tv boards there occasionally.
After IMDb I found a new Seinfeld board, started because IMDb was no more, which I really liked a lot. But it just didn't attract a whole lot of members, a total of 60 but that includes people who may have only posted once. There is a cadre of about a half dozen who are very active and maybe another four or five who are semi-active. Even though I liked the people I quit due to a lack of active members. Since I left they haven't signed up a new member (and even before I left).
IMDb. Then I joined here and stayed. Moviechat today has infinitely more activity than IMDb boards.
