Morocco update - final night 🇲🇦

Today was Spa day for the girls. Beer and sun for me.

Yesterday, we went to the snowcapped Atlas Mountains 🏔 to see the waterfalls. Before we started the climb we had a nice lunch in a restaurant that was in the middle of the river.

The day before, we spent the day touring around the city and saw a lot of interesting things, including : -
Royal Gardens - a lot of cacti🌵
Old Palace - every time there’s a new King they have to built a new palace.
Koutuobia - second largest mosque 🕌 in Africa.
Market and Souk - very crowded. The wife bought some Argan massage oil and some tea.

How did they manage a restaurant in the middle of a river? Is it called The Isle of Restaurant?

Did you visit Casablanca? Tangier? Most importantly, are you going to be getting a massage with that Argan oil anytime soon?

We spent the week in Marrakesh, we may well visit Casablanca next time (a friend of mine advised me that Casablanca was more a business destination, rather than for holidays).

The Argan oil will be virtually all for the missus, although our 5 year old daughter seems to enjoy sharing the Spa experience with her mum.

Did you go to either the Akchour or Paradise Valley waterfalls? (Yes, yes I am Googling, thanks.) That turquoise water is unbelievably beautiful!

Just curious, how many holidays a year do you take???

I am very lucky, in that I am able to take April, August and December off, to go long haul. Plus the half term holidays to spend a week somewhere. Bank holidays for City Breaks. Finally the odd weekend to go somewhere close by. So quite a few I guess, lol.
