Let them bring hell when it's appropriate, in this case it was cute to see that older lady get an award...it was quite sweet to be honest

The Irishman is going to.win nothing now.

I also now think Parasite might just win Best Picture for the first time really after it won its Screenplay Oscar

I'm sure some people on the site have seen at least some of the documentary nominees. I haven't seen them, but I am not a big documentary fan. I should check them out.

i saw american factory and honeyland. honeyland was in my top 10 favourite films of the year.

i've been meaning to catch up with edge of democracy, which is streaming on netflix i believe. i might try to get to it tomorrow night.

I like Eminem but it seems kind of random to have him perform. What was the point? What did it have to do with any of the nominated films?

I'm more of a heavy metal guy but Eminem has always meant a lot to me...
Tyler the Creator is a fabulous rapper you might want to look into...Ive been following that kid for 8 years, he 's quality and his associated acts are fine too

I think I listened to one of Tyler the Creator's albums once (don't remember which one), but couldn't really get into it. I might give him another try.
