Everyone thinks he just plays himself as Iron Man and is doing nothing really special but I think the reason his Iron Man was so beloved is because his acting was really good.
He portrayed very well the arc of Tony Stark from selfish to the man sacrificing his life for the universe.
He is a very expressive actor who can show every emotion you want and I think he also has the ability to do drama and Comedy without trouble.
If you guys are going to say he can’t do comedy because of Dolittle, I think the problem there was the script.
But the man can act but now people say he can’t or just plays himself because of the MCU.
