Let's lighten things up - kind of........

Holy Cow, the last few days have been heavy. So let's play "what if." If you could start over and select your new husband, wife, significant other, what is the one trait that your current partner has that would absolutely be a deal breaker with someone else. This is not a " I love my ....... so much I wouldn't trade her/him for anything - that's not the game were playing.

I'll start - my husband is the worlds pickiest eater. I'm an excellent cook, but we only eat plain food and the same old same old is always served at our house. We eat out, but it is always at the same restaurants where he always orders the same thing. It is so boring and challenging because there is very little I won't eat. So if I had it to do all over again, if someone didn't enjoy all/most types of food, they would be gone.

If I could choose again, I'd want a spouse who is more open to discussing problems rather than ignoring them or pretending everything is "fine." I think our marriage would have survived if he'd been willing to talk things our, or perhaps get some couples counseling. Oh well, we have to play the hand we are dealt. Oh, and someone with a better sense of humor. That can get you through some difficult times.
