EVERY DAY WITHOUT FAIL MY DAUGHTER AND I WATCH AT LEAST AN HOUR(USUALY MORE) WATCHING TV TOGETHER OLD SCHOOL STYLE.IN MY GARAGE/HOME THEATER ROOM...JUST A COUCH A TV AND MY DAUGHTER...JUST LIKE WHEN I WAS A KID,PLUS WE WATCH VINTAGE SHOWS SO SHE WILL HAVE THE SAME KNOWLEDGE BASE AND TV MEMORIES AS I DO...WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FORA FEW YEARS NOW AND IT WILL CONTINUE UNTIL SHE BACKS OUT...NO PHONES OR DEVICES DURING TV TIME EITHER..WHEN WE FINISH A SERIES WE SUB IN A NEW ONE...

SUNDAY---THE SIMPSONS.
MONDAY---BOY MEETS WORLD.
TUESDAY---SAVED BY THE BELL. & TACOS.
WEDNESDAY---FREAKS & GEEKS.
THURSDAY---FULL HOUSE.
FRIDAY---MOVIE NIGHT(EITHER RENTED OR FROM MY VAST COLLECTION) & CHINESE FOOD.
SATURDAY---ANCIENT ALIENS.

I think the fact that Doctor Who is not given its own day is tantamount to child abuse.

Joking of course, I'm just projecting my own happiest TV experiences as a kid.

How cool that you've made it a regular thing to do with your daughter. So if she's 11 now, how many years do you think it will be until she does back out? I bet it's a day you are dreading.

Kowalski I am just ahead of you and I must report there is hope. My daughter is sixteen and we still watch and talk about films daily. So the meth pipe doesn’t necessarily have to be in your future! 😀

WE HAVE BEEN ROCKING CDS IN THE CAR AND AROUND THE HOUSE SINCE SHE WAS BORN...THE BEATLES AND OZZY ARE HER FAVORITE OLDER STUFF,BUT SHE HAS HEARD AND KNOWS MORE THAN M OST ADULTS.

Well played sir! When my wife was pregnant I used to balance my I-pad on her belly when she was lying down and play all my favourites. My little girl likes rock music and likes it when my wife plays Queens Greatest Hits in her car.
