At one point Norris is beaten nearly to death and gets buried under the desert in his Ford Bronco...Luckily, he has a can of beer and pours half of it on his head (I don't know why, I'd have chugged that LAST beer!) then
he takes a good swig and then he kicks his monster truck into gear and bursts out of his grave and into a gunfight
It's the most macho stuff ever

His partner was played by Robert Beltran who starred in Night Of The Comet (another good one!) and as it turned out that guy was a born shooter!
