i remember going to see The Ten Commandments in 1956 when it was first released, I may have seen Bambi prior to that but I'm not sure.

Ancient history - I have no idea what the first one was. I do remember going to the drive-in with my family and seeing Pillow Talk or maybe it was some other Doris Day - Rock Hudson movie.
