The OP writes his way younger wife says it’s “old school” to chat on this. You replied with “It’s old school.” I have a feeling she’s going to think a lot of things are “old school” with her being 24 and he’s 47. 😏

Well, it is old school. It's one of the lesser reasons why IMDb closed them down. Just like how chatrooms were so popular and widespread at one time, they've fallen out of favor too. It's all about Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube now. It's all Zuck's fault.

It's a message board. They used to be extremely popular along with chatrooms. These are what people on the internet used to do en masse. Now the masses are on social media. AOL and Yahoo used to be the place to be for chatrooms. They have been disbanded long ago. The younger generations now congregate mostly on the platforms I've listed above.

Wow! You do have a token bride! Aren’t you a lucky old soul! How in the heck did you accomplish that? Mail order? Just think in 18 years you will be eligible for Medicare and she will be younger than you are now! When you’re 75 she will be only 52! Ain’t life grand! By chance do you have kids about her age? Would love to see your reaction when someone tells you your daughter is waiting for you! It happened to my dad and he was only 6 years older, but Mom held her youthful looks. He got so ticked off!

I’m sorry I’m having too much fun with this! 😉 😂To answer your question, from one old fogie to a sooner than you think one, she’s probably correct. My daughter informed me I shouldn’t refer to these folks as “cyber pals”. So old school!

I have two teenagers from a previous wife (45). Thankfully they live with her so I can be alone with my new younger wife. Where I am from this is normal.

I’m speechless! Where ever you are, it’s normal to be thankful you don’t have to deal with your children. To be alone with your younger wife is more important. Well, aren’t you just a great daddy...to your children..not your younger wife. But, then....

I am 307 years old.

The average age here seems to be 80+.

That is why all the posts are so mature and well-considered, not to mention literate and erudite (which is 3 syllables [ER-OO-dite, and not et-EE-you-dite, like in every movie you’ve ever heard).

I think Knish and Samonanwhatever are under 25. Also bigbaddog69. So was snepts, but now he’s dead.

From some of the posts I often read on the forum, I sometimes wonder if there's anyone over 25 here!
