One thing that made you weird as a kid.

Haha, I was all in on I Love Lucy as a kid too! Also, oddly, Bewitched and Perfect Strangers.

I was in grade school when "Free Willy" came out, and I taught myself how to do Orca calls.

Mathematics was my favourite subject in school. Apparently that's rare in Australia these days.

In fourth grade I discovered that detention was the school library. I could do my classwork in record time (no distractions), spend all day by myself studying anything I wanted, and the librarian was my best friend.
I got in trouble to go to detention everyday!!
I learned more in six months alone than my classmates managed in six years.

They all thought I was weird. I knew they were all brainless.

I Love Lucy was one of my kid's favorite shows around that age, and that was only about 10 years ago. They found it themselves and watched it everyday.

What made me weird was I loved science and read Encyclopedias cover to cover like a novel.

I don't think that's weird at all.
I used to spend weekends with my grandparents (both parents worked) and there was only one television. So what they watched is what we watched. I grew up with an appreciation for old television and movies that no one in my generation appreciated.

In recent years I've been watching Burns & Allen reruns and my wife has started watching them with me. She loves them and she had never even heard of Gracie before then.

I was taller than most kids in my elementary school classes.
