Worst Decade for Film?

What does everyone think is the decade that has produced the worst films?

2010-2019 without a doubt!

Never been such dull, uninspired, monotonous, derivative period (in my lifetime anyway). It's been like a decade of McDonalds production-line crap with VERY few fillet steaks to tuck in to.

I thought I was just falling out of love with films...but I'm now convinced it's not me, it's them.

I think you can find great examples from every decade. I turned 6 in 1980 and 16 in 1990 so the 80s will always be very special to me when it comes to movies since this is when my love of them began. If I had to pick least favorite, I'd say the 60s. Not to say I don't like several movies from this time period (Psycho and Rosemary's Baby would both be in my top 10 but I'd struggle to think of many more that I truly love from this era). A lot of the films just have an oddness to them. It was when films began to push the envelope as to what they could show but still couldn't go all out so a lot of movies seemed to go out of their way to tease the viewer without actually showing anything too graphic. By comparison the 50s were really innocent and the 70s morally debase but there was something about the middle ground that just seems distracting from the plot of a lot of films.

I find this to be a pretty difficult question to answer. I mean, each decade has it's own combination of good and bad films.

But, if I had to pick one, I guess I'd say the 2010's, but only because of all the pointless relentless remakes.
