I don't think people here care about k pop. All the deaths are strange though, something about that culture.

reply

I am interested, but yeah I asked some kpop questions in here awhile ago and they went unanswered.

reply

I can't answer those either, the whole thing gives me a panic attack.

reply

When and where did you ask those???

reply

Uhm, I'm actually a K-pop fan. It would be a good idea not to speak for others.👍

As a dabbler in kpop, it's sad how much I've learned in the past few years about the cruelty of the culture around kpop idols. Aside from the brutality of the public, there's also the slave contracts and rampant sexual abuse of idols by the higher ups within their own record labels. So tragic. I really hope things change.

reply

Everybody knows that Kpop is run by the mob, the Korean Yakuza.

reply

I actually didn't know that. Is that a verifiable fact? Interesting.

reply

Ask any Korean. They know.

reply

I think it's obvious from the whole Burning Sun scandal. And all these Korean celebrities making loads of money from real estate, you just know there's something fishy going on.

reply

South Korea makes great movies but their pop music is horrendous. I have noticed a lot of them have been dying young and they're never from drug overdoses.

reply

I agree on the movies.

reply

Actually, I've turned to K-pop, because I think Western pop is horrendous.

reply

Allow me to clarify: pop music in general is pretty bad.

reply

Pop is my favourite genre, but at the moment it's not very good, no. The same goes for all other genres.

reply

Yes, S Korea makes fine thrillers👍
I don't know the pop music at all but I gather it's a big deal

reply

Memories of Murder is their #1 thriller.

reply

check out Burning (2018)

reply

I saw Burning. I liked it.

reply

I will be on the lookout for that, thanks!

Check out I saw the Devil, it will blow your mind👍
