Did you hear the creeper??

If you were sound asleep in bed at night, do you think you'd know if someone sneaked into your room? Even if they made no noise, do you think you'd realize they were there?

I'm asking because I watched a show recently where a cat burglar was sneaking into houses/bedrooms where people were sleeping, to steal small things. The victims never woke up, and didn't know until the next day when they noticed something was missing.

I like to think I'd know - that I'd realize that someone was there, somehow sensing the presence of another person. But maybe not...

Not me, I'm afraid. I've slept through earthquakes. Literally, earthquakes!

No I have a lot of clutter so he would probably bump into it and make a lot of noise.

That’s why it’s great to have a dog. I may not hear an intruder but the dog will. Especially if it’s a cat burglar!

Same here. I once slept through a root canal so I leave it up to the dogs as well.

I sleep pretty hard. If I caught 'em they wouldn't get a second chance tho. The thing is - over 90% of robberies are done by someone you know!
That's even creepier!

I can sleep anywhere, anytime. Once I had a minor operation and before the surgeon could put me under, I'd already dozed off, lol.

However, I do seem to have an internal alarm that wakes me up if there's a strange noise or if my daughter wakes up in the night, so who knows?

Guess I would be dead. I once slept through an explosion that shook my house on it's foundation. I was living in Jersey City at the time when the big gas tank in Bayonne exploded. My mother and sister jumped awake and ran outside to see what happened. They could see the flames. Come back inside and there I am snoring away.
