not too shabby, I heard this today, and I can't get it out of my system.

Very nice. I like this one from Nat King Cole --- Answer Me My Love

That's the first time I've heard her called a minute hairlike organelle...

reply

Lol. You're quite educated, aren't you!

reply

No not really. I never even finished High School. But I have a need to feed my head as the old song said and have crammed it full of all sorts of information over the years by reading, watching documentaries, listening to radio and so on.

I hear you. I'm the same. I read everything. Currently discovering Carl Jung's lesser-known stuff.

embarrassing.

It was just a typo, no-one died.

'Step Inside Love', written for her by Paul McCartney (and later used as the theme to her first TV show) is *great*:

Her version of 'I've Been Wrong Before' is even better:

Her 'Conversations' is also pretty fab:

In other words, Cilla had a *very* solid musical career before she became a light entertainment fixture, and her singing is shown to its best advantage *below* the level of her #1 hits.

Excellent choice. I'd forgotten this one existed. Thanks for reminding me
