Gender Reveal Parties
Does anyone else hate them as much as I do? How overplayed / annoying have these things become with couples trying to one up each other?

Baby showers I understand because you're giving expensive gifts to help out the parents. Birthdays I understand because you're celebrating another year of life for someone. Gender reveal parties are a celebration of a gender. That's it. Should there also be name reveal parties?
shareShould they include additional colors like grey for non-binaries. Some parents may not want to lump their children into one of the two traditional genders. Maybe there can be blue with pink stripes for boys who will identify as girls and vice versa.
shareName reveal parties. Right handed or left handed reveal parties. Hair color reveal parties. Attached or detached earlobe reveal parties... The possibilities are endless.
shareAs a matter of fact, they should have parties for the days they are planning parties so they can party during the entire process.
