I hate my neighbour's

Straight up hate.

reply

Dog?
Hairstyle?
Sense of humour?

Give us a clue.

reply

The trick is to get them to move out. There's nothing illegal about using a pungent odor outside to the point where it drives them crazy every time they leave the house.

reply

My dream is for my neighbors to shoot themselves simultaneously in the head. They are fucking worthless trash.

reply

I'm sensing you don't get along...

reply

They can't be worse than mine.

reply

I hate mine, too. They have no idea how to use apostrophes.

reply

ouch

reply

LOL! 😏

reply

Do they throw loud parties all night and let their kids run around like animals?

reply

Sorry to hear it...

Throw a big party this coming Spring, have it all catered with a fully loaded bar...They'll love you in no time Cuba👍

Best to make more friends than enemies

reply

I firmly believe good fences....make good neighbors! We have never had good neighbors, even when we had 5 acres in Florida. We’ve never had barking dogs, we smiled and said “Hi” if we saw them, our girls never bothered them, we didn’t infringe into their space, etc. We didn’t throw parties or make loud noises. Most of the time a dog (their’s) would be involved. Sometimes ya just can’t win.

reply

What do you hate? Their house, their car, their yard, trees or whatever? You used a possessive when you wrote neighbour’s.

reply

I think the neighbor silenced the OP since he hasn't answered anyone. 😉

reply

Ha! 😉Miss GienE you always have a great, succinct line right on target! It would be fun to know you personally....”Can I be your neighbor?” Was it Mr. Rogers who said that line? If it was I don’t think he would ask the OP that question. đŸ˜±

reply

We'd have a ball if we were!

reply

We would have a red Solo cup filled to the brim with the good stuff, while we were keeping watch on your interesting neighborhood! Always wondering when another mysterious car would be parked outside waiting to be exchanged for another one. Or wondering what that next door neighbor of yours is up to.

I feel sorry for those reading our posts....they, themselves wondering what in the hell does this have to do with the OP’s post “I hate my neighbour’s”.

reply

Maybe OP meant to say, 'I hate my neighbour's car swapping shenanigans'. It all makes sense now.

reply

Do you think OP Cuba may have the same mystery as Miss GlenE? Hmm? đŸ€” Verrry Interesting.

BTW, what time is it where you are. It is 1:43 AM Central Time here. We are at the beginning of a long hard freeze overnight. Every faucet is running a very light stream to keep the pipes from bursting. I’m grateful we don’t have a water/sewer bill in my town.

reply

When you posted last, it would have been 7:43am here, so I am currently +6hours to you.

Are you still planning on visiting Texas in April?

“The best time to visit Texas is in early spring, between late March and April. Winter's chill is gone throughout much of the state, the wildflowers are in bloom, and summer's scorching temperatures haven't arrived yet.”

Yes, definitely - it'll be Easter holidays over here, so we should get a good 3 weeks in Texas. We're really looking forward to it.

reply

It’s a big state! As my husband use to answer when questioned how far is it to ????, “Everywhere is far in Texas!” It might behoove you to order the following:

That is brilliant - many thanks!

My own itinerary that I've tentatively come up with: -
Fly into Dallas, pick up a car:
Arlington
Fort Worth
Waco
Austin
New Braunfels
San Antonio
Corpus Christi
Padre Island
Port Arkansas
Galveston
Woodlands
Houston, drop car, fly home (phew!)

I will explain later. Ha.

No more car-swapping here, but definitely a bit unusual: a couple of days ago I noticed a black PT Cruiser out front. Three guys were standing around it having a conversation - not a heated one, I'd say, but definitely a bit tense. The driver got back in the car and the other two started pushing the car to the corner. I though, oh, they must have car trouble and sure, I felt bad for them. Car trouble is a pain.

But a minute later they started pushing the car backwards up the block. Ok, I thought, maybe they decided to avoid that busy street. But then one of the two pushers got back in the car. The engine was obviously running by then because the third man was no longer pushing, and the driver continued to reverse slowly up the block. The third man followed closely, gesticulating and talking to the driver. This scenario continued to the end of my block and as far as I could see on the second block. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
