I bet I'm the only person on this board running the Air Conditioning right now.
Why is it still hot here. Ahhhh. Make it stop.

shareI live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and at 7:15 PM it’s 49 deg outside. Yesterday I was running the AC. I never open my windows here or when we lived in Florida. I suffered with the heat and humidity all through high school to the point of getting ill, (no AC) and for years after getting married until we purchased our first home.
shareI’m in central FL and still have the AC on.
shareYou florida guys are wimps.. To be a true weather warrior you have to live in Phoenix, Las vegas, etc.
shareI think in Florida it isn’t so much the temperature but the humidity.
shareI know I was in New Orleans during August. Same thing, pretty bad.
shareI was a roofer in south Florida almost 15 years. It's the humidity. After Andrew rolled across some roofers from San Diego were going to show us how it's done. Took one to the hospital, another went the next day! Lol! It's the humidity.
shareMy AC is on. I just clicked it off. Now it's OFF.
You saved me a penny.
Thanks.
I live in California where the weather is usually pretty mild. I don't have an air conditioner, but I do have a rotating fan just in case.
shareShould be warm down here by now we keep getting lots of rain. Haled so bad the other day it hurt! Looked like snow.
shareSpeaking of snow - we got some today. Dismal day, cloudy, rain to freezing rain to snow. It won't stay, though. I don't think the ground is cold enough yet. We've been below freezing enough times already that the grass has finally gone dormant. Not looking forward to tomorrow night: overnight low of 8°, high Monday of 16° and Monday night, a flippin' 2°F! Brrrr.
