Stonekeeper's Neverending Funtime Party Game: I Recommend THIS Movie #756 - All about the Clicks [nyctc7 casts a shine with FULL MOON IN BLUE WATER]

All righty, who's going to snag the win this time? Let's put on our thinking caps here, people...

Let's play a guessing game! I have a movie in mind and you have to guess which one it is. For each movie you guess, I will give a hint that CONNECTS your guess with the movie I have in mind.

Example of connections: Actor, length, genre, aspect ratio, language, country, year, director, writer in common, rating, number of votes, nominations. It can even be something like: both movies involve kittens.
Helpful search engine: https://www.imdb.com/search/title/

- The winner can either start a new game or say "pass". In case of a pass, the OP gets to start another one.
- After 12 hints, the point goes to the OP and he/she gets to start another one.
- Movie must have at least 3500 votes. Otherwise, add a bonus hint.

Let's get it on!

***UNDER 3500 VOTES***

Hint 1: Good-bye, My Lady (1956) - At least one Oscar winner in the cast.
Hint 2: Sex and Zen (1991) - Comedy.
Hint 3: Brain Dead (1990) - Rated R.
Hint 4: The Young Savages (1961) - Runtime under 2 hours.
Hint 5: Age of Consent (1969) - Drama.
Hint 6: Rare Birds (2001) - Aspect ratio 1.85:1.
Hint 7: Daddy and Them (2001) - Same exact rating.

Maybe it was written in the sky, but nyctc7 gets point number 50 by picking Full Moon in Blue Water (1988), one of those popcorn classics that didn't get a fair shake upon its initial release. As you can clearly see from the poster, this is a buoyant romp about Gene Hackman and Teri Garr as two friendly giants who loom over a bar/grill by the water while Burgess Meredith spies on them from behind the moon.

Seriously, I haven't found any online synopsis that accurately reflects what this movie is truly about. The marketing material suggests this movie as a relatively light romantic comedy, while I found it to be a portrait of desperate and longing characters trying to keep up their best spirits. Heartbreakingly honest performances from Hackman and Garr add additional layers to the story, and overall it's an easy-going watch with a lot of darker elements for those willing to delve beneath the surface.
