My 1st skydive picture from a couple of years ago....

Had & deployed my own parachute (no tandem). Jumped out of a plane at 14,000 feet in the air! https://i.ibb.co/w05k9BJ/skydive2.jpg

Did you stick the landing? I've heard people really bust their asses when they touch down?

The landing was the hardest part. It was a tumble and I landed on my sides rather than on my feet. But sustained no injuries. :) You have to get the timing just perfect to control the descent of the parachute. I watched a bunch of skydiving videos on Youtube to try to get a gauge of the landing.

Sounds really hard to do AND painful plus I'm terribly clumsy...I couldn't do that but good for you Eric

I think I would be scared as hell but I would like to do it. Bungee jumping? That would be scary too.
