What's the "biggest" thing you've bought online?

Biggest, most expensive, or however you want to define it.

I've ordered a laptop before, and a flat panel TV. Had to sign for the laptop, but not the TV.

I would never buy something like a sofa, though. I need to see it, sit on it to judge the comfort, etc. I can't imagine the hassle of getting it, but not liking it, and then having to return it.

I've bought computers and tv's with no problem. But that was from places like Amazon and Ebay and they have a tendency to have your back.
But the generator didn't work out as well.
We ordered directly from the company since it was on sale and it got damaged in shipping. We filed a damage case but they ended up not having anymore of the same generators and actually sent us the replacement parts instead.
It was a mess..
I think we're too easy going.

I bought a pair of Reebok Fitness Gloves. That's it.

Ordered a lap top and tv. Also a desktop computer. Could never wait for them to arrive. :) I've used amazon for smaller items lots though.

However it happened once, my boyfriend (long now my ex) ordered a baby monitor and we ended up with a pair of shoes? The ad and box read correctly. Only bad experience really.

(Oh and it was a gift, no kids with him. lol)

Were they new shoes??

reply

Hilarious to me now, I lol'd at your comment. They were ugly, ugly -yet brand new- shoes. like wtf? haha

reply

Whew! That would have been really icky if they were used. 🤢

reply

Oh, and did you look inside before you gave the gift??

reply

Yes, lol. Imagine? haha

reply

Did you keep the shoes?

reply

Of course, they are my favorite pair. :D
I don't know what become of them. Maybe he threw them out, maybe he wears them. Lol.
The questions about this crack me up. :)

We just need to know these things - we crave closure.
