I forgot Mary Poppins!!! Forgot Grease! Forgot Mame and Gypsy, too. ( I forgot a lot!). I even liked the Lucille Ball version. Forgot A Little Night Music with Liz Taylor ( saw it as a young teen on TV).

Never liked Music Man, though I do want to see Hugh Jackman in it next year on B’way.

reply

Aw, come on. Opie was so cute in Music Man. I can see Hugh Jackman as Harold Hill, yep. I haven't seen What's Up, Doc? in years, but I remember liking it.

reply

I'm happy to see love for The Last Supper.

When I was still pretty young my Mom and I saw a move called The April Fools, with Jack Lemmon and Catherine Deneuve.
I was riveted and fell in love with CD.
Later I realized it wasn't a very popular film, but it captured me when I was maybe 12 or so. Adults being Adults ! Not Star Wars.

The Muppet Movie (1979)

I loved it as a kid and appreciate its nuance and humour even more as an adult.
