i don't know medium cool, but otherwise i think that's a pretty inspired list, op.

blow out is not something i'd immediately think of as a journalism/media film, but it has that element, though perhaps it's a bit of a stretch to put it on such a list. regardless, it's a great movie, one of my favourites for sure.

have you seen kate plays christine? it came out around the same time, & i thought it was an even better, certainly more original, take on that story.
