Rate the movie "Rock Of Ages" (2012)?

I give the movie an 8/10, I don't consider it to be a great movie but I loved hearing their renditions of the hair band classics I grew up watching.

7/10 I try and rate things in terms of the genre they belong in rather than trying to compare apples and oranges so to speak.

I like the music. Tom Cruise as a rocker was a little hard for me to get my head around though.
