How Camera Phones Killed Alien Abductions and UFOs

The camera phone has killed the alien abduction nonsense. I am not so sure about the UFO sightings.

Billy Connolly was onto this many years ago when he asked the question " Why is it always retards from trailer parks who get abducted by aliens ? Why don't they ever take supermodels ? "

reply

Connolly has a way with words.

To travel the Earth means the aliens have mastered faster than light speed technology..which Einstein thought impossible.

It would follow that they could also have mastered a 'cloaking device' like the Romulans in Star Trek and/or a inviso-shield like the movie Predator, or tech that could transform them into human form like They Live..

Or I could have just seen too many sci fi movies...

reply

Yes, that last bit. :)

We defeated our own tracking devices for a while just about 25 years ago with stealth technology. Not a total defeat but enough to throw off the watching eyes of big brother. We'll do it again soon and probably have in smaller fashions since stealth was a big stir.

They don't need to travel faster than light. They could have very long lifespans, stasis technology and/or multi-generational craft.

could be anything.

reply

The reason it is unidentified is because they are using cameras that aren’t very good.

reply

If its nonsense, when will this be debunked?

"In each case, the objects in the videos undertook aerial maneuvers that aren't possible with current aviation technology."

reply

...that aren't possible with current publicly known aviation technology.

reply

If the Government indeed does have this kind of aviation technology, which seems to defy the laws of physics, that's a story in itself!

reply

And if it's true then the fact that it has been kept "secret" all these years is another story in itself...

reply

If it defies the laws of physics then the law isn't a valid law.

reply

The nonsense reference was in regards to alien abductions.

reply

Like, say, a large leaf that's floating along level and suddenly gets swept straight up by a wind gust. That would look like an impossible aerial maneuver to an observer who's already made up his mind that he's looking at a craft of some sort.

reply

The US Navy has already admitted that these are unidentified crafts and that the jet's tracking system locked on them. While pilots were mid-flight, their aircraft cameras and radar detected seemingly impossible objects flying at hypersonic speeds at altitudes up to 30,00 feet (9,144 meters); these mysterious objects did so with no visible means of propulsion.

Furthermore, the US Army just recently confirmed that it has signed a cooperative research deal with the group responsible for the release of the videos - Stars Academy for Arts and Sciences. The group has a minimally redacted copy of the agreement that clearly says that the Army wants to attempt to verify TTSA's claims about reported metamaterials and associated "technology innovations." If they actually check out, the service thinks they could be immensely valuable to the U.S. military as a whole.

Sometime in the late 90’s I started using game cameras in the woods early in the season to capture deer movements. You had to walk to the camera and remove the film and bring it to be developed. Now the outdoors are filled with motion infrared cameras that send the movies straight to your I phone.

Incase anyone was unsure before, Bigfoot does not exist. :)

reply

Awwwww! Don't be saying that.

reply

"And your kids? Your kids are bigfeet, too."

reply

I guess they do exist.

reply

No Bigfoot? Say it isn't so.

reply

What do you mean? I saw him on The Six Million Dollar Man.

reply

I am a Lee Majors kind of guy and I wouldn’t doubt what you saw. Have you ever seenThe Night of the Demon (1980)? There is a most horrible Bigfoot in that movie.

reply

Aaaaarrrrrgh!!! "Incase". That's another one that should go in the "Things That Irritate Me" thread.

reply

Aaaaarrrrrgh!!! "Typing on I phones". That's another one that should go in the "Things That Irritate Me" thread. 😎

reply

Aaaaarrrrgh!!! Writing I phones instead of iPhones. That's another thing that etc etc... :) :)

reply

Nooooooooo!!! Agggg! 🤪

reply

Lol!

i think it certainly has put a damper on all the wacky 'i saw a flying disc' stories. now that we're all walking around with high quality cameras, it's fairly obvious that if such things happen in the frequency ufo-heads claimed, we would actually see good, high quality footage of such things.

reply

That's a very good point...most phones have HD quality cameras, and yet we now see less and less photos and film of supposed extraterrestrial craft.

If you ever watch TV shows about the existence of aliens, tatty docs and stuff, they tend to concentrate on the older footage and stories. Probably because the footage is so fuzzy and unclear you can claim anything you want. Plus, many of the witnesses are no longer around anyway.

With modern tech, its probably easier to determine what you are looking at because of the increase in quality...but they dont make programmes about that sort of thing, do they?

reply

i think some people just like attention and pull bs ufo stunts.
