Do you fear death?

I think all we can do is make the most of all the time we have on earth and be happy.

reply

Yes as well as fearing the death of the people in my life. I try not to think about it, but I think we all have it lingering in our heads because we know it's inevitable.

reply

I don't fear it in the sense that I think it's impending but when I stop and think about the prospect of ceasing to exist, I fear and am saddened by it.

And since this thread has caused me to stop and think about it, I really wish I hadn't seen it lol

I must need to get my act together. 😀

Well said. Life is a journey, death opens the door to blessed eternity.

reply

Yes.

I think there probably isn't anything after it.

i fainted one time and it is like sleeping, i think death is similar in that aspect.

reply

There is no such thing.

reply

Not really

Of course. I am a prime candidate to have a stroke sometime in the next decade, and if it killed me, so be it. But if I'm trapped in a half functioning body, I don't have the support and resources to bear it with some dignity. That's very depressing for me.
As the old song goes, It's been too hard living but I'm afraid to die.

reply

I'm not afraid of death. It's the dying that scares me.
