Horror anthology movies
I just watched Creepshow, and it inspired this post. This works so well in this genre. I'd love a complete list of good anthology horror movies. Trying to buy them all digitally. Please offer your suggestions.

shareThe subgenre is a mixed bag but here are a few goodies:
Trick 'r Treat
V/H/S
Tales from the Darkside
Creepshow 2
Twilight Zone
Nice, I haven't seen trick r treat
shareIt's a really good one
Perfect for a Halloween party
VHS is great too.
shareMy wife and I just finished Trick r Treat. I thought it was a lot of fun. I appreciated changing the timeline and story structure a little. Not done as formulaic as most movies like this are. A couple of the story lines could have been fleshed out a little better, like Anna Paquins and the principal's. All in all, I liked it. Thanks for the recommendation.

It wasn't perfect but it sure was good
Tales from the crypt 1972
Vault of horror 1973
Body Bags (1993)
shareMan, this blows me away. I had no idea this existed, much less that it's from John Carpenter. I'll definitely be getting this.
shareIt's a good one, Enjoy 👍
shareMan, I'm not sure I'd consider this good, lol. It was cool to see Mark Hamill, but that was probably the highlight for me. I did a little digging and discovered that these were originally going to be episodes on Showtime, but it didn't get picked up, so they made it a showtime movie.
shareDr. Terror's House of Horrors.
I don't really get the title, because the frame story takes place on a train. It's kind of a fun, though, if you like that kind of hoaky, old movie.
This rings a bell. I think I've seen it long ago.
shareI love this film. With the plant trying to kill the family, and Donald Sutherland with a vampire wife 😄
sharesouthbound is my favourite of the recent little trend of anthologies. most don't seem to care for it, but i think it has a very odd, off-kilter tone all the way through that i absolutely love.
i think the first two vhs films are fun, &, while vhs viral is fairly awful, the nacho vigalondo segment is really good.
I enjoyed Southbound as well. I was a little trepidatious going into it because of some not so great reviews, but I'm glad I watched it.
