It is a survival film at heart, with impending horror in the form of a pandemic avian flu, rapturing people's bodies.

The emptiness everywhere is magnified by what is only suggested and not seen. Main roads are as desolate as the lack of trust, morality and humanity.

In a way, such calamity brings out who we really are. Life means so much when it can be more dangerous than death.
