What is Europe like?
I've never been there. I'm wondering what both residents and visitors feel about that place.

shareItaly has great history, architecture, scenery and food but I noticed when I was there that the public services don't work very well. Garbage sits around for days, sometimes there was no hot water and there seemed to be a different public sector strike each day. Also, the people don't seem to work very hard.
shareDang. That sucks....
shareAnd from a docu I've seen, apparently they have lots and lots of Chinese there.
shareI've always wanted to go to Iceland. Can anyone here tell me what it's like? In terms of people and culture? I know the scenery is amazing. People there are apparently hardcore partiers. I've heard alcohol is ridiculously expensive there. I've heard about the Blue Lagoon, but that it is just one big giant tourist trap that is best to be avoided?
shareI have yet to visit -- it has always been very high on my priority list -- but by all accounts it's wonderful and yes, expensive).
The advice I am always given is, do not stay in Reykjavik for more than a couple of days, hire a car and drive around as much of the island as you can.
I have also been told I should visit in Summer and again in Winter.
I´ve been there twice as a visitor. Spent time in England, Italy, France, Spain, Monaco. As Stratego said, it varies greatly depending on where you are.
shareI've never been there, either but would love to go. Sadly, not likely to happen. I'll have to settle for reading about it and watching travel shows or documentaries.
shareYeah... that's a somewhat ridiculously broad question. It's hard to lump, let's say, Ireland, Croatia and Liechtenstein together as part of 'that place'.
But to my own fatherland...
The UK is a beautiful land of friendly faces and lovely scenery.
Sadly, it is now the land of Boris Johnson and Brexit, so not the best time to visit.
There's only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and Liechtensteiners.
