lud proves to be a stand-up guy after all with Entertainment (2015), a confrontational and occasionally surreal examination of comedy and how the doldrums of life get channeled into performative escapism. This movie will likely rub a lot of audiences the wrong way, but that's well within the film's thesis that professional performers aren't wholly meant to make people feel comfortable.
