CBS TV Journalist Sander Vanocur Dead At 91

We are mourning legendary TV journalists this week. Sandor Vanocur, one of the legendary stable of CBS TV journalists in the Cronkite era, has passed at age 91. He belonged to a team founded by Edward R. “Dean” Murrow, who created TV journalism as the most powerful news medium on the planet. I salute Sandy’s legacy of passion and deep research and caring to inform and educate the public. The world is a bit diminished by his passing.

I know that few of you knew who he was, but you have all benefitted from the legacy that he and his peers have left.
