Dating is so pointless
I dated a guy one time and I got bored after a while.

I disagree. I think for some people it is. But dating is social experience, whatever the outcome. So, for better or worse, you're still gaining adult social experience points.
shareExperience that a lot of people needed, need, or will need. We all need to grow even if the experience on a date is negative. A biggie is we find out what is acceptable or not acceptable to us in a potential mate. Could not really call it a date but I used to commute with an extremely attractive woman who was very superficial in some respects. I quickly got over the notion that I was going to program a living Barbie doll to my liking.

shareI was on another movie forum a while back and a bi woman was even complaining about how bad it was to date other women. She listed all the complaints that men tend to make about women, said that unless you have tried dating/being with a woman then you really have no clue how bad it is!

shareDating is hilarious. Having dinner with this person you barely know and trying to figure out if you want to spend your life with, have kids with. No pressure there. Enjoy the food. Bad dates are even more fun. You’re stuck in this situation sometimes with vague time limits, trying to think up a creative way to get out of it. I went on a blind date boat trip from hell once. Long story, bad day. There was a squall at some point. A sign from God. I stayed on land a long time after that fiasco.
