I know people have tried several times to start a movie watching club in the past. But now that sticky threads are apparently possible, how about featuring one movie per week (or two weeks, or month, whatever) to generate discussion on its individual board? You're not obliged to watch, but you can partake in the discussion if you want to. Too much trouble?

Sticky threads are ones that are kept at the top of the page and don't drop. I thought one of the mods said they were possible now.
I'm not sure why other initiatives didn't work. I don't think I regularly saw a thread about it. Making it sticky might help.
Yeah, no titles that are too obscure, or at least post a link to watch it with English subtitles.
Mina tried this way back and it ran for about 5 movies or so. I even remember the movie I recommended - it was the Ox-bow Incident because it was on youtube. For some reason I also remember Croft's movie - The Fourth Kind. I thought it was kind of fun and I would participate again if someone tried it.
