What's Your Favorite Ice Cream Flavor?
My fav is chocolate chocolate chip mint which Haagen Daz made a long time ago and has since discontinued. Chocolate now.

shareHuge fan of macadamia flavoured ice-cream. Also, ice creams home made and served on site in farming areas seem to be extra delicious, whatever flavour they may be.
shareWow, I haven't had home-made ice cream in 45 years. Didn't even think of it until you mentioned it. These days I suppose you can buy something electric. This was hand-cranked. Only the finest, freshest ingredients!

I guess because it so convenient to go to a place like Cold Stone Creamery or some local "artisan" place. But it's not exactly home made. Our local one is https://www.icecyclecreamery.com and I'm sure there is an equivalent almost anywhere. But these artisan places mostly offer weird flavors.
shareI've spent a lot of time over the last few years visiting vineyards and farms, for no specific reason other than that I felt drawn to these places. Maybe that's why I don't really like artisanal local places - you cannot beat freshly made ice cream (if that makes sense). The difference is stark, imo. Also, I'm not feeling flavours like lavender.
shareI took a gelato-making class which allowed each person to bring home four pints (different flavors). The gelato was much more flavorful during the first two days. It tasted like store bought gelato after that even though it was still good, of course.
