Personally I didn't like Adam's Rib much, though the fact that I had a brutal toothache while I was watching it may have affected the experience a bit.

"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" was the one that came to mind the instant I read the thread title. I don't think anything can top that one in this department. By the end of that movie, I felt as exhausted as the characters must have been lol.
