I hate when they fill your coffee too high and don’t leave any room for cream. I experience daily annoyances like this and feel like speaking up but I don’t. I wish I was Larry David.

I actually feel the opposite. I want them to fill the cup as high as possible even though I add cream because I want as much coffee as possible. I just slowly taper the cream in as I sip it. That’s the one thing I really like about IHOP, they give you a carafe and let you pour it yourself.

Yesterday I went to a restaurant where I'm a semi-regular, this particular time to order take-out. My tab was $14.02. I gave them $20 and they returned with $5.98. Needless to say I left a 98¢ tip.
