I agree. He’s been punished enough.

reply

You can't leave the all-time hits leader out of the hall. Unless he did something like murdering his wife and a waiter. Oh wait, O.J. is still in.

reply

Pete NEVER did that!!!! All he did (allegedly) was bet on a few games, which in my opinion shouldn't even be illegal. Pete Rose is NOT a murderer.

reply

And from what i have read, he never bet on his team to lose.

reply

I don't think it should be considered.

reply

If they put the steroid guys in, then he should go in.

reply

steroid guys should be in too! If you're not cheating, you're not trying to win.

Barry Bonds is THE home run king and should absolutely be in the hall.

reply

I still consider Hank Aaron the home run king. The guy is a class act and put up with so much racist shit as he got closer to Ruth's record.

reply

hey hownos have you ever seen "My Bloody Valentine"??? If not, can you recommend the best Canadian made movie?

reply

check out this thread for my top three

reply

Black Christmas is Canadian?! I had no idea. Cube, Videodrome, and The Changeling are ALL good movies. Damn, forgive my American ignorance, but I had no clue all these were Canadian.

reply

Others would be Black Christmas and Videodrome.

reply

What does UofT mean? uni of Toronto?!?! something else???

reply

University of Toronto - that's one of the reason I love BC because I attended UofT in the 1980s.

reply

In elementary school I had a Canadian teacher who had gone to U of Western Ontario, which I think is in London, maybe? I'm not sure.

reply

London, Ontario west of Toronto.

reply

Also, HAVE you seen "My Bloody Valentine". it is very good if you like horror.

reply

This was shot in Nova Scotia. I don't think I have seen it.

reply

You might want to Google "permanent ineligibility from baseball"

reply

I should read this book on the 1981 Dodgers. I cried when they beat the Expos in the NLCS

speaking of 1981. I read Whitey Herzog's book. Accoriding to him the Cardinals won the most total games in 1981. But due to the strike the season was split into two halves and the Cardinals finished 2nd in both halves. what a world.

reply

The Cards had some great teams in the 1980s. They only got the one WS win in 1982. Lost in 1985 and 1987.

reply

The Cardinals are the only team that have ever blown a 3-1 World Series lead TWICE. 1968 and 1985. I actually have a replica ring from 68. I won a contest at the game which was rather embarassing, because they showed me on the big screen and I hated it.
