Profile pictures, the ability to create lists for movies (like top 100 favorite movies for example), more extensive information about movies and cast (similar to imdb), and the ability to create groups.

What you said and just needs more posters. I like discussing Actors and Actresses and the last post there was 9 days ago. The Sandbox was 23 days ago. The Soapbox's last 5 posts are 8 hours ago, 17 hours ago, a month ago, a month ago and 5 months ago. And I love talking Food and Drink. Last post there was 5 days ago.

A search feature for the forums. For one thing, so I can find out if something I want to bring up has been discussed before.

This feels like another case of not enough posts/users to justify this. For the most part, if I needed to find a post, it's usually a page back (at most).

Yeah, but I can use imdb for most of that stuff.
