What are some movies that were better than the novels they were adopted from? I'll start:

Jurassic Park.

I would say that’s a rare thing indeed. I read Point of Impact in 95 and loved it. When Shooter came out I was surprised how much I enjoyed it with them only changing the time period from Vietnam Vet to modern times.

I don’t know. The book was pretty good. Jaws is at the top of the list. Peter Benchley was a weak writer who lucked out when they made a great movie off his book.
