My unpopular music opinion...

It is not one of my favorites from the 1970s. One of those songs I am tired of hearing. It happens.

The Tragically Hip are incredibly overrated.

Depends on if your sick of hearing it, or just didn't like it to start with. I can't hear smells like teen spirit anymore, i've heard too many times. Maybe in 10 years I can reappreciate it. Something like I love rock and roll is just awful to start.

I like it and I think it was revered because it was so different to everything else, but I respect your opinion.

Oh boy, where to start with my unpopular opinions:

- I hate Nirvana's music (not the band members though).
- Load (1996) is my favorite Metallica album and the band's best album and their absolute artistic peak (in my opinion of course).
- I love U2's All That You Can't Leave Behind (2000).
- I like the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC.

I think it is a good song, but it is so overplayed that I can't stand it anymore.

I never liked it much either. Too much nonsense all balled up into one thing. I get that it's popular, but it's certainly not a work of art, imo.
