Good grief! I've seen just 34! 😬 Having never watched Tootsie perhaps I shouldn't comment, so I'll just say the premise never appealed to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm surprised you've only seen 34, GE. You watch a fair amount of films! Tootsie was ok, but hardly worthy of being included in a top 100 greatest American films list, by AFI no less.

It kind of surprised me, too. But there are some classics on there that I just haven't gotten around to watching. And there are a few I tried to watch but gave up on, like Citizen Kane, so I didn't count it as having seen it.

There are some classics on there I haven't gotten around to seeing too. Citizen Kane has some breathtaking camera work, and the sets are amazing considering the low budget he had to work with, but it falls short on the story line.

I saw it when I was 10 and seeing a guy dressed up like a lady probably skewed my opinion...I was a bit immature back then😬

Honestly, I don't think it's good enough to warrant your giving it another chance, Shog. It's not a bad movie, but it's not particularly good. It's just okay. Not great for sure!
