Can you think of a series that ended in a satisfying way?

Just wondering, 'cus nothing comes to mind for me.

NOT Game of Thrones.

God that finale was an atrocity. The last couple seasons in general were bad, but it just kept getting worse. That finale just felt like Benioff and Weiss's way of punching all ASOIAF/GOT fans in the face repeatedly for an hour.

And get paid for it!

Six Feet Under had the best ending of any series I've seen.

I think Limitless (2015) did. Sure it could have continued, but it did end.

Cheers

The Mary Tyler Moore Show

Newhart

The Sopranos

The Prisoner

The Avengers, if it had ended with Mrs. Peele’s final episode

Counterpart, even with it being open-ended

Spartacus

Ash v. Evil Dead

I think you're in the minority with Cheers and The Sopranos.

I remember a lot of people complaining about those shows last episodes.

Personally I liked the last episode of Seinfeld, thought the show ended fittingly. Not many people seem to agree with me on that, though.

I thought Cheers ended well. The cadence of last episode of Seinfeld just seemed off to me.

Always quite comfortable with being in the minority. I stand by my statements.

The majority is almost always wrong. It’s called “the tyranny of the majority.”

The majority voted for Richard Nixon.

Very true.

Yes!

Bates Motel

It was the single most moving and satisfying series conclusion I've seen. In fact the show as a whole was very underrated. Perfect cast, strong intelligent writing and the absolute blueprint of how to successfully re-imagine a classic story in a modern setting.

I miss that show.

The English version of The Office ended on a high note, I thought.

Breaking Bad
Band of Brothers
Our Friends in the North

Yes.
