What are you all listening to?

I've got Tom Petty going here
The guy was a boss!
You?

reply

I’m at the theatre watching my mate who’s performing (it’s the interval, so I’m not misbehaving).

reply

Cool
What show?

reply

Holmes & Watson at the Shelley Theatre by Black Cherry. Only 4 players doing multiple parts. A mixture of comedy and improv. It was very funny and my friend, who also does stand up (who I write material for occasionally), was hilarious.

Chris Isaak!

reply

Very cool sound, I'd imagine it's been used in movies

reply

Ya know what shogun? Chris isaak has come full circle for me. I got into him back in my metal days (thank you Columbia house), and he then ended up acting in twin peaks “fire walk with me” which I was a huge fan of. In my 20’s I lived in Missoula mt. where I got to see him live. I didn’t find out til later that Missoula is David lynch’s hometown (creator of twin peaks). If you can get past his bedazzled suits he’s kindof a badass.

reply

Oh yes, he's been around since the 80s so the guy is certainly doing something right
He's got a hell of a voice and the old rock and roll sound is still so great

reply

I just asked the barmaid to put on some decent music:
Now listening to Sweet Child o’ Mine (GnR).

reply

Tip her well!

reply

Journey - Don’t Stop Believing.

reply

I always think of the Sopranos finale now

Great song

reply

Also the anthem for the Detroit Red Wings.
"Just a city boy born and raised in South Detroit."
But after last season they may move on from it.

reply

Paranoid - Black Sabbath.

reply

Excellent
That was the third album I ever bought
Money well spent

reply

Starman by David Bowie.

reply

Love it!!!
There's a youtube video with all of the lyrics...try some time to sing along as best you can to the track...

It's impossible for nearly anyone and I do this a lot with youtube Lyric Videos..some are easier than others to sing along with (my voice is terrible in the interest of full disclosure)
You just can't keep up with the guy
Bowie is dead but he will never be gone...all time LEGEND, that voice and his timing!

Full on ROCK GOD

reply

Yes, he was definitely a legend in his time for sure!!
