I define an artist who creates.. Director, writer, actor, etc.

I remember in the 80s Kirk Douglas saying he was in a stupid movie called The Big Trees (not to be confused with The Big Sky)

Haha, I remember that in an interview.. I think in the same one, he said his best was "Lonely Are The Brave" - very rebellious, anti-authority. Some even call it "libertarian", some call Kirk's character of a man who refuses to change with "the times".. The first 10 minutes of the movie is so amazing. Gena Rowlands is in this, too.
